The BORA PURSU2R S Pure RC 60cm vented induction hob is built to slot straight into a standard 60cm-wide kitchen unit without wasting space. It’s finished in matt black glass for a clean, modern look and gives you four cooking zones plus a built-in recirculation extractor. As it’s the RC model, it comes with a charcoal filter included, and the stainless steel grease filter is tough, rust-resistant and won’t discolour over time.

Controls are easy to get the hang of. The sControl vertical touch slider lets you change settings quickly with a tap or swipe, and the tri-colour display keeps everything clear. You also get fry assist and boil assist to help with cooking, along with auto-pan detection and auto-fan adjustment so you’re not constantly tweaking settings.

Like the rest of the S Pure range, this model makes smart use of space. The four zones are different sizes and arranged asymmetrically so you can use anything from a small milk pan to a large casserole dish without feeling cramped. There’s also a built-in coffee function that manages the timing and temperature automatically when you’re using an induction-compatible espresso pot.

Because this version recirculates rather than ducts out, it’s designed to run quietly at just 68dB(A) and carries an A+ energy rating. The installation height comes in at under 200mm and the recirculation filter unit is integrated, so you still keep the storage space underneath. Even in shallow units, drawers and cupboards don’t need to be compromised.

Cleaning is straightforward. Everything that comes into contact with cooking vapour can be removed easily through the wide inlet and put straight in the dishwasher. The redesigned air inlet nozzle and improved filter setup add to the practicality. If you want app features and remote control, it works with the BORA Joy app too.
