The Quooker PowerSwitch is a smart three-way adaptor designed to safely share power between multiple kitchen appliances. It allows you to connect a Quooker tank, a Quooker CUBE and a third appliance such as a dishwasher to a single power socket, making installation more flexible where sockets are limited.
To prevent overloading the circuit, the PowerSwitch intelligently manages energy use. When it detects that the third-party appliance is drawing a high level of power, it automatically switches the Quooker tank into standby mode. This ensures the connected appliance continues to operate normally while protecting your electrical system.
During this time, the Quooker system will still dispense existing boiling water from the tank, but it temporarily pauses reheating until power demand drops. Once the additional appliance is no longer in use, the Quooker tank resumes normal operation automatically.
