LONGLIFE AIRCLEAN FILTER – A completely odour-free kitchen

Thanks to the reactivatable active charcoal filter, odours are efficiently removed inside the oven. Alternatively, these charcoal filters can be purchased as optional accessories for many wall-mounted and island cooker hoods.

RUN-ON FUNCTION – Automatic fan run-on

The automatic fan run-on ensures the full extraction of steam and odours still in the air after cooking. The cooker hood can be set to switch off automatically after 5 or 15 minutes.

EDGE EXTRACTION – Decorative panels instead of metal grease filters

In cooker hoods with edge extraction panels, the commercial-looking metal grease filters are hidden behind a decorative cover. The cooking vapours are drawn in at the outer edges.

CON@CTIVITY (Miele@Home) – Automatic operation for intelligent fan control

Thanks to the Con@ctivity automatic function, the cooker hood can communicate with the hob below: the settings selected on the hob are transmitted to the controls on the cooker hood. Your Miele cooker hood then uses this data to automatically select the correct fan setting, ensuring the optimum room climate at all times. Communication is established between the cooker hood and hob via WiFi.

FILTER INDICATOR – Countdown time conveniently in view

If the grease or active charcoal filter of your Miele cooker hood is saturated, it is indicated by a lit-up red LED. Your filter should then be cleaned or replaced as soon as possible. You can individually adjust the factory-set service life of the filters: The grease filter saturation indicator can be programmed for 20, 30, 40 or 50 hours, the indicator for active charcoal filter replacement for 120, 180 or 240 hours.

SMARTCONTROL – Elegant touch controls 

With its colour and operating principle, the new, elegant Miele touch control perfectly matches Miele hobs. When switched off, only the On/Off icon is visible. Moreover, only the active settings are brightly illuminated; all others are dimmed. Basic functions, such as the run-on time, can be conveniently set at the touch of a finger. Perfect for use with Con@ctivity and the Miele app.

STAINLESS STEEL GREASE FILTERS (10-LAYER) – Easy to use and effective against grease

Miele cooker hoods are equipped with 10-ply stainless-steel grease filter(s) for excellent grease removal. Built-in fall protection allows you to handle them safely and protects your hob from damage. The top layer and filter frame are made of high-quality stainless steel so that no visible discolouration occurs from being cleaned in the dishwasher and they retain their stunning appearance.

MIELE CLEANCOVER – Convenience and safety in detail

Located behind the grease filters is the Miele CleanCover: Instead of sharp metal edges and electrical components you will find only a sealed, smooth surface. ECO MOTOR – The heart of every cooker hood

The heart and soul of every cooker hood is the motor. Some Miele cooker hoods feature ECO motors which work up to 50 % more economically than conventional motors. They are also very quiet but still as powerful as the motors in other Miele cooker hoods.

SAFETY SWITCH-OFF – Always on the safe side

The cooker hood will switch off automatically after 10 hours. This ensures maximum safety even in the event of operating errors.
