Active Light

Selected Smeg dishwashers fitted with ActiveLight project a red light onto the floor when the appliance is in operation. At the end of cycle, the light automatically turns off alerting you to open the door.

Anti Drip System

Anti-drip inserts are installed in the lower basket of Smeg’s new generation dishwashers. This addition improves drying results and cuts down drips between dish and basket.

FLEXIDUO cutlery basket

The third cutlery basket; the Smeg Flexi Duo, consists of 2 separate and movable sections which can be adjusted individually or even removed entirely depending on your loading needs. An intelligent solution that makes room for tall glasses below or deep utensils above.

Depending on the model, these can be blue or grey in colour.

INVERTER MOTOR

Some dishwasher models are fitted with a latest generation Inverter motor which guarantees a longer service life, efficiency, reduced energy consumption and noise level.

Dishwashers fitted with the Inverter Motor have a Silence program which reduces the initial noise level of the dishwasher by 2 dB (A).
This is ideal for open plan kitchens and night use, especially during off-peak hours for total discretion.

Planetarium wash system

The unique, patented planetarium wash system from Smeg provides complete coverage of the dishwasher, thanks to the eccentric rotation of the spray arm on its base.

SLIDING DOOR SYSTEM

The Flexifit hinge system allows smooth sliding of the dishwasher door, in order to offer freedom in the choice of the dimensions of the panel and the plinth, the height of which can vary from 5 to 21.5 cm. The dishwasher harmonises with the cabinet in which it is inserted, allowing the door and the plinth to appear almost flush, with a minimum distance between the two of only 3 mm.

AQUASTOP

Most Smeg dishwashers have Total acquastop, an electronic device fitted to the water intake hose and the base of the machine, which monitors water levels in the machine, detects leaks in the hose and switches off the water supply immediately directly from the source when necessary, preventing water spillages onto the floor.

DELAY TIMER

A delay timer can be set to run the programme at a convenient time or to take advantage of off-peak energy periods.

HALF LOAD FLEXIZONE

The ½ load Flexizone allows you to wash a reduced load saving energy, water and time and there are no restrictions on where the items have to be placed.

EXPRESS 27′ PROGRAM

Designed especially for lightly soiled dishes to be washed immediately after use, the quick program washes in just 27 minutes.

DRY ASSIST

At the end of the drying cycle a special device automatically opens the door a few centimeters to ensure perfect drying. This can save up to 20% of energy compared to Class A, by automatically opening the door there is less need for the heater element to continue to get the desired drying result.

SILENT PROGRAM

The hydraulic system, the shape of the bottom of the chamber and the use of increasingly high-performance motors means that the noise of the washing cycle is reduced by up to -2 dB when this program is selected.
