Auxiliary oven

The TR93’s AUXILIARY OVEN (positioned on the right hand side) has a full height side opening door which is externally glazed with an enamelled inner door for energy efficiency. With a net capacity of 62 litres this tall oven is equipped a total of 9 cooking levels making it ideal for small batch baking and plate warming – in fact you can cook a whole roast dinner just in this tall oven.

Grill oven

The GRILL OVEN (positioned top left) boasts a powerful 2.7kW adjustable grill, and has a 36 litre net capacity alongside 2 cooking levels.

The grill operated with the drop down door closed. It is particularly energy efficient and is easy to maintain thanks to its enamel interior and roof liner for effortless cleaning. There’s also telescopic rails to glide your grill pan in and out of the oven.

VAPOR CLEAN PROGRAMME

Smeg ovens offer a vapor clean programme designed to generate steam to help release burnt on food from the walls of the oven. Vapour cleaning is straightforward, simply put a little water & detergent into the hollow in the oven base and select the vapour setting.

CLOSED DOOR GRILLING

Closed door grilling allows you to grill with the door closed, keeping cooking smells inside the oven and out of the kitchen to ensure a safe cooking environment and reduced energy consumption.

EASY CLEAN ENAMEL INTERIOR

The enamel finish of the oven cavity has a special antacid lining which helps to reduce the amount of dirt adhering to the surface.

Cooking Functions

Static

Upper and lower element only: a traditional cooking method best suited for single items located in the centre of the oven. the top pf the oven will always be hottest. Ideal for roast, fruit cakes, bread etc.

Circulaire

The combination of the fan and circular element around it gives a hot air cooking method. This provides many benefits including no preheat if cook time is more than 20 minutes, no flavour transfer when cooking different foods at the same time, less energy, and shorter cook times. Good for all types of food.

ECO

The combination of the grill, fan and lower element is particularly suitable for cooking small quantities of food.

Fan Assisted Base

In gas ovens the fan distributes the heat quickly and evenly throughout the oven cavity, avoiding flavour transfer when cooking a number of different dishes at the same time. In electric ovens this combination completes cooking more quickly of foods that are ready on the surface, but that require more cooking inside, without further browning.
